An industry to be proud of- again!

On Thursday 25th May 100 agents and suppliers from across the UK descended on the Peak District- scrambling up & down 3 peaks over 11 miles all in aid for Do It For Dom. In the build up to the big day, entrants were required to raise at least £300 each with many going above and beyond- with the top 3 alone raising a staggering £9,782.39- over 10 times the required amount! Funds for the hike totalling an impressive £42,502- but it didn’t stop there!

Through key sponsorship from IAM Property, Rightmove, PVS Media, Acaboom, Sprift as well as support from Agents Giving as well as a series of further fundraising activities undertaken at the ‘after party’ - Do It For Dom saw the total raised soar to an amazing and frankly inspirational £73,000!

Whilst the walk was far tougher than most of us had imagined (there was a vicious rumour that parents pushed kids in prams around the route) the camaraderie and fun experienced by all far outweighed any painful efforts made on the day- or aching muscles and bruised toes in the days following!

Yet again our amazing profession of agents & suppliers alike has shown how proud we should all be of what we do & how we go about it- the support we provide to our teams, partners, community and causes close to our hearts- like Dom Subbiani!

I’m already excited to see what Suzanna Mavity, Graham Wilson (and Simon Whale- kind of) cook up for us all next year and I hope we can see even more take part and maybe, just MAYBE see if we can hit £100,000+ too!
