The Depositary Statistics Q1 2022

Wow, what a start to the year! Q1 of 2022 proved to be The Depositary’s best yet - our clients are achieving better than ever results when it comes to their end of tenancy process thanks to our automated platform.

This quarter saw over 1,000 tenancies processed on The Depositary and on average tenants are being refunded 14 days after they vacate - this is a 33% improvement on the national average of 21 days. Our goal is to get the average down to 10 days and we’ve got lots of plans on how we can work towards that, so watch this space!

We’re still seeing around 80% of deductions be approved first time without any counter offers from the tenant, but on those that do enter negotiation, agents are successfully achieving 85% of their original proposal on average.
